The mission so far
man i dont know where to start i do apologize for not sending an email for a couple months my mom said people are wondering how im doing so i decided today imma write an email but lets start
the mission has been incredible and every day is fullfiling and full of so many spiritual experiences ut ill share a few experiences i have had out on the mish so far first off my first couple weeks in the mish we met this mom of 2 named hilda ( the best part about mexico is everyone loves god so everyone lets us in) but we nocked on her door and she said come in come in and so we walked in and there was a big alter of santa muerta which means saint death and pretty much just looks like the devil but she told us how missionaries had visited her in the past but after the first visit they never came back and she never knew why but not me and my comp we werent scared of no alter full of devil pictures and devils in general so we got to know her a little more and learned her husband had sold his soul pretty much for money and in return for the money he had to keep the alter up she told us her husband had passed about 5 months before we got there and how she now was in charge of keeping the alter up to date i guess you could say but she asked for a blessing on her house and so we did just that, right after we said amen the room changed and we could all feel the spirit so strongly and hilda was crying we asked her what she was feeling and she said she is not sure but she wants to feel it more, we kept meeting with her and she eventually got baptised wahoooo
there is a million other experinces ive had in these last months but ill leave you with one more
we had been teaching these kids who are 8 10 and 11 years old and we invited them to get baptized and they all agreed (fast forwardto the baptism date) we went to the kids house and picked them up and walked to th church with them we gave them there white clothes and they all went and changed except for one of the boys was having second thoughts, he kept saying he wasent ready i talked to him in the stall and told him its going to be okay christ is so happy with him and is so excited for you and asked him what hes mostly scared about and he said im scared of letting god down after im baptised i told his that its imposible and that god is so happy with him and that he doesnt need to worry he agreed to go through with the baptism and after i asked him how he felt and he said a lot better, the change in all three of those boys before and after the baptism was real and seeing there light and glow after was incrdible
