Keep Going

Almost my whole mission i have strived to find a better understanding of the attonement. I have made mistakes and countless errors in my little time on this earth and i have found my self reading every pasage about the attonement, and every pasage of when christ died on the cross for us, looking for answeres and additional peace in my life. But i want to write a little bit about the how that it is through the attonement of jesus christ where each and everyone of us can be saved in our time on this earth and prepare us for the next life and it is through the plan of salvation we can all be saved spiritualy. latley i have been studying the plan of salvation almost every morning ever sence we heard about coocoos diagnoses. Through these confusing maybe frustrsting times I have found comfort listing to talks and reading the scriptures. Trying to find peace and a better understand of the unconditional love christ has for each and every one of us. We are so lucky to have christ in our lives. I think sometimes we take for granted or maybe dont fully comprehend what he went through simply because he loves us.

"Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?"
Matthew 26:38-40

"And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Luke 22:44"

"I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me" Isaiah 63:3

"Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death"
Matthew 20:18

"Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers plaited a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe"
John 19:1-2

"And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands."
Mark 14:65

These are just a few examples of what Christ went through alone. Christ walked alone through the hardest of times, and he did it so that we never have to walk alone. Our savior loves us so much he suffered and payed for every sin of the world. And in these hard times with coocoo we need to remeber that she is not alone and that christ knows how she feels and is by her side. I know with all my heart that in what could be these final moments with coocoo. That Christ, Arne, Birgit, are closer to her and our family than ever before. Same as when Christ was dying on the cross i know his father was closer to him than ever before, i know christ is by coocoos side i know the veil is thin and there are angles constantly surronding coocoo and grandpa. I almost think it would be wrong of us to think that they are not by her/our side there are angles ministering and comforting on the other side of the veil and i know they are ministering and comforting us on this side of the veil as well and even more in these times of heartache. It is in the hardest moments of our life where if we put christ first and trust in him and his eternal plan we can come to know him more than we knew was possible. We need to keep our hearts full of hope and trust in our loving heavely father and put our lives in his hands and give thanks for everything he does for us. Jesus Christ is our savior and in every moment of our day, week, month and life we need to remember the sacrifice Christ made for us and we need to move onward in the hard moments and love god with all our heart, might, mind and strength and never look back and keep hope close to out hearts. I know Christ loves us and has a perfect plan for us.
